MMR Vaccination Clinic Schedule

There has been an increase to the number of clinics across the Mid West including clinics specifically for Health Care Workers.
As the number of Measles cases has increased recently, it is important to protect yourself and your family against this potentially dangerous and highly contagious illness. It is especially important to ensure you are vaccinated before traveling abroad to countries where the population may not be vaccinated against Measles. The number of Measles cases are rising internationally and already this year in Europe there have been more cases of measles reported than in the whole of 2022.

Carrauntoohil Guided Hike with Healthy Ireland Team
A guided hike in Carrauntoohil is being organised for Saturday 3 August, starting at 9am. You will need to be physically fit as it is the highest mountain in Ireland standing at 1038.6 meters and will be challenging taking anything between four to six hrs, but we will be doing it at a manageable pace.
We are looking to put a team together and need numbers of only those who can commit as we are hiring guides and we all will be contributing towards this once we have names of those definitely doing the climb.
