Renal Ward 8C UHL
Hi. I’m a patient here for a week now. I had come to believe that all of UHL was a basket case because of the UHL A&E mess. I now realise this was wrong. Ward 8c is a perfect model of how a hospital can be run. The superbly designed building has been so well looked after that you could be forgiven for thinking it was newly opened. More importantly, the staff, all of them, work so well together. The interaction between them, of course is thoroughly professional, but also so nice, helpful, and respectful. So refreshing. This is how it is run and everyone engages without struggle. They also manage to have some friendly banter and fun along the way which is lovely. Well done to the entire staff at 8c.

My daughter was very anxious about her ultrasound appointment. We were greeted by Dr. Nick whom remembered us from before & immediately helped her feel at ease with his warm & calm demeanor. He really brightened the experience for her & will make a difference for a child that has had to undergo multiple procedures. He was well versed in child-first practices & had excellent communication throughout it, also alleviating any anxieties for us regarding the results. My daughter wanted to extend the kindness in return by inviting him to her birthday party :) Thank you Dr. Nick!

Medical Assessment Ward: Ennis Hospital
I want to thank all the nurses and doctors that took care of me while i was in the hospital in Ennis and never came across the loveliest nurses and doctors and of course the kitchen chef that looked after my dinners as they were lovely . I was well looked after and the room that i was in was absolutely spotless. Thanks for everything.
