Enabling Health Literacy Approaches in Communites



Empowering Communities: Bridging Academic Insights with Opportunities and Innovative Practices for Health Literacy. How Local Authorities can play an enabling role?

Registration is now open for the upcoming Enabling Health Literacy Approaches in Communities Webinar, taking place on Monday 15 July at 10am. Please follow this Zoom Link to register to attend.

 

We look forward to seeing you on the day and sharing the findings from a recent study conducted by DCU in conjunction with Mayo County Council and Dublin City Council. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to take part in one of the following two breakout sessions:

 

  1. Health & Wellbeing Literacy approaches in Communities or
  2. Opportunities for Co-producing Health & Wellbeing Literacy Approaches

Tender for development of e-learning for Early Learning and Care settings


HSE Health and Wellbeing in partnership with the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) are developing e-learning modules to support early years educators to embed health promoting practices in their service provision. The modules will focus on healthy eating, physical activity and emotional wellbeing for both 0-3 and 3-5 year age groups,  and will be available on DCEDIYs Nurturing Skills learning hub once completed.
