Nurses Home Entrance Door UHL

Please note the entrance door from the Consultant’s carpark to the Nurses Home will be closed from Monday 10th to 17th June. This is to facilitate the erection of a link lobby between the hospital and the temporary RAMU cabin. The external door at the opposite end of the Nurse’s home can be used as the alternative entrance.


 


Health Literacy Clinic UHL

Join us at our clinic to learn about our Health Literacy resources to help you with the preparation of patient information material or writing material in plain English. The clinic will take place on Monday 10th of June at 11 am in the CERC room 7&8.

6 Week Fitness Programme for Staff at TBB Gym

UL Hospitals Group Sports and Social Club, in partnership with TBB, are running a 6-week fitness programme at lunchtime for HSE staff.

 



TBB is ideally located in Raheen Business Park across from Houston Hall, nearby for all UHL and admin staff to avail of; 

  • Classes begin at 1pm every Wednesday
  • Approximately 45mins long
  • Starts Wednesday, 12th June, for 6 weeks
  • €30 for the 6-week programmeMix of cardio, strength and core work

Ennis Hospital Midsummer Healthy Ireland Walk

Are you interested in climbing Moylussa (Highest point in Co Clare, 531.6m) ?



When :  Saturday June 15, 2024, at 9am

Where: Meet in the Twomilegate car park (Ballycuggaran Forest on the Tuamgreaney /Scarriff road) at 8.45am

The hike explores an 8.4-mile loop and is considered a moderately challenging route and takes an average 2.5-3hrs to complete. Hiking boots recommended. Friends and family are welcome
