Plan for Clinical RAMU Downtime
On Thursday 30 May , the existing RAMU at UHL will be removed to facilitate building works related to 96 Bed Block B. All services will have vacated the Clinical RAMU by the close of business tomorrow 29 May.
The reconfiguration and setup of the new temporary RAMU in the front car park will be completed within a 6-week timeframe. Operational Services (OSD), in collaboration with Directorate colleagues, have developed a temporary relocation plan for RAMU for this six weeks period. The Estates team is working on design options to accommodate the Clinical RAMU permanently.
Below see the displacement contingency plan for the coming weeks.
OSD have been working with all Directorates, their teams and stakeholders to ensure everyone is aware of the temporary change of location. Patients will be informed of the relocation in advance, signage will also be in place to assist patients in the transition.
A working group will convene in one week to review the transition progress, with subsequent weekly reviews to provide support and assurance. Thank you for your cooperation.
