Paediatric Deptment UHL

I just want to thank Dr. Siobhan Neville Paediatric Dept and her amazing team for their dedication, time and care shown to our two small children that are under her care. We are lucky to have such an amazing consultant taking care of them both. Siobhan and her team deserve to be acknowledged for the fantastic work that they do. For listening to us and for being an absolute air of calm, when their is such worry and stress with small kids. We would also like to thank her for being fully supportive towards us, through our sons autism diagnosis. She is goes above and beyond to ensure our children are taken care of. She truly deserves to know how wonderful she is, hoping she will be in UHL for a long time to come.

Ennis Hospital

I visited the hospital recently with my uncle, he was very nervous and set is his ways. He was treated very kindly by the man on the admission desk. My uncle was more relacked as a result of this. I did not take the mans name as my uncle was trying to leave due to been a bit nervous. The whole service from entering the injury dept to been booked in was 100% service and respect to an elderly man who was a bit of a handful also. For my uncle to comment on how polite the young lad was in itself the highest praise. I would like to say the respect and dignity to an old man was 100% and the care respect in making him feel the only priority during the admission process was genuine care and respect. We were never rushed for a response and my uncle was asked directly to confirm his details in a polite and unrushed way.

Endoscopy Day Ward UHL

I collected my mother from a recent appointment. When I arrived I was not sure where to go and I was spotted by the man on the reception desk. He came out to me and asked me was I ok and how could he help me. I told him I was collecting my mother and he asked her name. He checked to see which ward she was in. He was very helpful and a credit to the hospital. He allowed me to wait in the waiting area and told the nurses know who I was here to collect. He was a very polite and helpful man and I was glad to get his name when I was leaving also. Ger said to us have a safe journey home and wished us a happy valentines day also. I hope we get to meet Ger again should we be back in the hospital. It all staff were as friendly and helpful as Ger was it makes you feel positive going on with the rest of the day.
