Happy New Year message

Dear Colleagues,

Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2024.

As we begin 2024 ED, LIU and MAU attendances in all our sites remain high. Our focus remains on our patients and their families and while improving and developing our services.

I would like to acknowledge all the hard work that takes place daily by you and your teams in the provision of the best care possible, for that I am very thankful.

Thank you all for ensuring essential services are maintained across the group while remaining patient focused.

Kind Regards,

Declan McNamara, Chief Director of Nursing and Midwifery

Presentation of ULHG commemorative badge to Midwives and Nurses

On November 23rd last we held our annual  event to celebrate our recently graduated Nurses and Midwives. We presented each graduate with a specially commissioned commemorative badge.

We presented our first Midwife commencing through the adaptation programme, Eliz Odemwingie, with a certificate also.

Congratulations to Helen Hogan and Costel Stefan who were voted as preceptors of the year by the graduate nurses and midwives.  We would like to wish all our graduates well as they begin their careers as staff Nurses and staff Midwives.
