End of Life care champions

The end of life care team want to recognise those true End of Life Champions – the compassionate individuals who make a difference when it matters most to a patient and their family.

The End of Life care team are looking to identify the unsung hero's of the hospital, the hygiene, portering and catering staff.

MMR Vaccination Clinic Schedule

There has been an increase to the number of clinics across the Mid West including clinics specifically for Health Care Workers.

As the number of Measles cases has increased recently, it is important to protect yourself and your family against this potentially dangerous and highly contagious illness. It is especially important to ensure you are vaccinated before traveling abroad to countries where the population may not be vaccinated against Measles. The number of Measles cases are rising internationally and already this year in Europe there have been more cases of measles reported than in the whole of 2022.
