Mid West Pride Staff Competition

We are excited to celebrate PRIDE in the Mid West Health Region and we want to encourage you to participate in a creative competition to mark Mid West Pride Month in July.

PRIDE is about celebrating diversity, inclusion, and acceptance, and we want to hear from you about what PRIDE means to you personally.

We invite you to share your thoughts, feelings, and reflections on PRIDE through a poetry or quote submission. Let your creativity shine and show us what PRIDE means to you! Please submit your entry on the ULHG Staff app. Button on the homepage

Winning submission will receive a €50 one4all voucher kindly sponsored by our Health and Wellbeing Team 

Reminder: Maintenance works UHL 1st Floor Link Corridor

To facilitate essential maintenance works the first-floor link corridor (between CSSD and Theatre) will be closed from 8pm-6am. Staff will need to use alternative routes during this time.

The canteen at UHL will be serving a BBQ feast  this Thursday 04 July 2024. There will be a draw for a €50 One4All voucher on the day

Doomscrolling: What is it and why is it bad for our mental health?

Join our panel discussion as we explore the impact of doomscrolling on mental health. We will discuss how the endless consumption of negative news particularly on social media can lead to increased levels of stress and anxiety. As we delve into the psychological effects of this modern habit, we will look at how we can develop a healthier relationship with digital media and stop the scroll.
